Pro-tips from an enthusiastic PYP Coordinator:
This is almost a proof of concept post, meaning that the difficulty level for non html coders is high😉.
I have been for quite sometime wanting to add pictures into our Early Years report cards and today I finally got around doing it.
Prerequisites and disclaimers
If you choose to follow these instructions and it will take up all your time, you can’t blame me!, I have warned you!
Step 1. You’ll need:
- pictures that you have named properly and placed them in a folder on your websites public_html folder or publish them on your blog (I am using a page in my WordPress blog that is not linked in any menu).
- This bit of code:
<img src=””>
You will need to place your own URL between quotation marks, like so
<img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f9/Phoenicopterus_ruber_in_S%C3%A3o_Paulo_Zoo.jpg">
I would make a text document with all the code snippets ready for all the students before continuing to the next step.
Step 2. Open your Gradebook and copy-paste your html code into your desired comment box.
Step 3. Generate a personalized report card with images in comment boxes
I hope you liked this advanced level pro-tip, please leave a comment or ask a specific question and I will happily help out!
